4. Nanostructured Materials and Applications

Scope

Nanostructured materials gained tremendous importance in technological advancements due to their tunable physico-chemical characteristics, showing enhanced performances over their bulk counterparts. The aim of this section is to bring together scientists, researchers, and academics, to present recent results and novel concepts in the field of nanomaterials and nanotechnology, to share their expertise and contribute to innovative research and development in this field.Particular attention will be paid to fundamental issues and applications of self-organized nanostructured materials and multilayers, including 2D materials heterostructures, as well as to fabrication, modelling and characterization of nanomaterials and nanostructures. In depth study of nanostructured materials is a key element for the advancement of science and future emerging technologies.
