LANGUAGE OF THE SUMMER SCHOOL

The language of the School is English and all presentations will be in English.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

The program is open to Young Scientists (graduate, post-graduate, post-doctoral students) as well as Researchers from Industry and Academia.
For access to School activities, an application must be submitted.

Application files should include the following:

•  CV (1-2 pages)
•  Statement of purpose explaining the reasons for applying to the summer school program

These documents should be submitted to the address: anka.dumitru@psg.unibuc.ro

• For Young Scientists: a recommendation letter from the supervisor, or head of department, should be submitted directly to the school organizer at the following e-mail address: anka.dumitru@psg.unibuc.ro

Deadlines for submitting documents: April 20, 2017.

Selection of Participants:

Visa 

The citizens of EU and NATO member states, as well as citizens coming from Australia, Switzerland, Japan and Israel will get visa at the Romanian border.

Participants are advised to check if they need to obtain Romanian visa in advance. The Summer School Organizers will send letters of invitation to participants, if necessary. The securing and the cost of visas are the responsibility of participants. You may check visa requirements for visitors from your home country on the homepage of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( http://www.mae.ro/en/node/2035)

Health Insurance

All summer school students are required to have international health insurance. Travel insurance is also recommended.

ACCESS TO THE CONFERENCE ROCAM 2017

The school attendees have the opportunity to have an oral or poster contribution at ROCAM 2017 conference, without any additional fee. The abstract of the intended contribution for ROCAM 2017 conference, will be sent to anka.dumitru@psg.unibuc.ro
 

BOOK OF LECTURES

Selected slides of the lessons given at the Summer School will be published in a textbook, which will be given to each attendee at the School registration desk.

GRANT

The Organizing Committee has the pleasure to announce “International Travel Grants” (partial travel support) for Young Scientists attending the “International Summer School on Materials for Energy Conversion”. 

The grants will be provided to Young Scientists with a maximum age of 30, who were regularly registered.
